Phil Jardine
Chairman

Phil is Head of the Property Services Group of Blake Morgan having first joined Morgan Bruce and Nicholas in 1983, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1987 and appointed a Partner less than a decade later. He has held various Board and Senior Management positions in the firm over the past 25 years and was Joint Managing Partner following a merger at the time of the millennium.

He has experience of large-scale public and private development work, joint ventures, regeneration projects and property transactions particularly relating to the governmental, health and education sectors and the firm’s lead partner for several major clients.

Often acting at the interface of the public and private sectors Phil has played a pivotal role between clients, their advisers, project managers, valuers, and specialist consultants in making deals happen.

Phil is a long-standing member of the Cardiff Business Club and a well-known personality in the local professional and business community. He is self-confessed ‘mad about sport’ and frankly ‘anything with a ball in it’, although his playing days are now a dim and distant memory.

Beyond his ‘day job’ he has held several prominent positions in South Wales . He is a former director of Cardiff City Football Club and he also acted as the Company Secretary of Newport Unlimited the URC, set up to coordinate the regeneration of Newport from 2004 to its closure in 2014.

He was appointed in 2011 and served for 10 years as a Director of the Design Commission for Wales and has been a Director of Antur Teifi a Social Enterprise, based near his family home in Llandysul, Ceredigion where he lives with his wife Rhian, their three children, Daniel, Nia and Wiliam, each having ‘flown the nest’ and now living and working in Cardiff and London.
