Our next speaker in the news: Lloyd Dorfman CBE

Lloyd Dorfman is the entrepreneur and philanthropist best known in business as founder and president of Travelex, which he grew from one bureau de change in 1976 to the world’s largest currency exchanging business. He also founded The Office Group, the leading flexible office company, and co-founded Doddle, the parcels service that makes it easier for consumers to collect and return online shopping.
Ranked 199th in the Sunday Times Rich List, Lloyd is renowned for being very philanthropic. Chairman of The Prince’s Trust, Lloyd also set up the revolutionary Travelex theatre scheme to fund cheaper seats at the National Theatre. In 2008, he was appointed CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to business and charity and, in 2011, he was awarded The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy.
In 2017, he joined the Business Advisory Board of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
