After graduating from the University of Oxford’s Wadham College with a degree in Engineering Science, our next speaker Warren East then went onto earn his MBA from Cranfield University School of Management.

His first role was with Texas Instruments – a company with whom he remained for 11 years before joining ARM Holdings plc in 1994 in a move that would catapult his career. Upon assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer, by 2001 he was appointed the company’s Chief Executive Officer - a role which he had held until 2013. It when then that Warren became a non-executive director of Rolls-Royce plc and subsequently Chief Executive Officer in July 2015.

In addition to being CEO of Rolls Royce, Warren is also a fellow of the Royal Society, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering among several others. East was also awarded a CBE in Her Majesty’s News Year’s Honours List for services to engineering and technology and has also received honorary doctorates from Newcastle and Cranfield.
