Speaker in the news: Nick Wheeler OBE

Nick Wheeler founded the company Charles Tyrwhitt back in 1986. Since starting his business from the comfort of a small room at the Four Seasons, it has grown to sell its products online and in over 27 stores across Britain, America, Europe and Australia.

Nick expressed his ambition and entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. After receiving an inheritance, he decided to buy a classic car to help raise funds to start his now multi-million-pound company. Selling this classic car was the first step to building what Charles Tyrwhitt has become today. By placing value and emphasis on the quality of his products and services, Nick was able to build his empire which annually turns over more than £210 million.

Back in 2018, Nick and his wife, Chrissie Rucker both received an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List for their services to business and philanthropy.
