In conversation with Professor Laura McAllister CBE and Felicity Evans. Join us to celebrate International Women's Day where we will hear from Professor Laura McAllister CBE, FRSE, FLSW in conversation with Felicity Evans on Wales, politics, equality, sport and wearing a rainbow bucket hat.

This event is in partnership with Eversheds Sutherland. The event will be taking place at their newly-refurbished offices at 1 Callaghan Square with drinks and canapés.

Professor of Public Policy and the Governance of Wales at Cardiff University's Wales Governance Centre, Laura has become an expert on devolution, Welsh politics and elections, public policy and leadership, gender and representation in politics. She also holds honorary degrees and fellowships from several universities, as well this the former Wales international footballer and team captain holds 24 caps and then went on to be awarded a CBE in 2016 for services to sport and more recently being recognised in BBC's 100 Women of 2022.

She will be joined by Cardiff based journalist and broadcaster, Felicity Evans, who has covered all the major stories of the last twenty five years. Currently Political Editor at BBC Cymru Wales, Felicity has also presented a variety of radio programmes for Radio Wales, Radio 4 and the World Service including Good Morning Wales, Farming Today, The World Tonight and Open Country.

The event at Eversheds Sutherland will be from 6-8pm, drinks and canapés will be served. 

There are limited spaces for this event which will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. The event is free to attend and open to members and friends of the club so we would encourage you to book soon to avoid missing out!
