Andrew Davies, Chief Executive, Kier plc
Andrew was appointed as CEO of Kier Group plc in April 2019. Kier Group is a strategic supplier to government of construction and infrastructure services. It delivers infrastructure which is vital to the UK on projects of all sizes, complexities and sectors, with a particular emphasis on the construction of prisons, schools and hospitals, MoD estates and building and maintaining the UK’s road and rail networks
Prior to joining Kier, Andrew was CEO of Wates Group, a privately owned construction and property group and before that, spent over 28 years at BAE Systems plc in a range of senior operational and corporate roles, including Group Strategy Director, Managing Director of BAE’s Land Systems division and, subsequently, Managing Director of the Maritime Division.
He is also a Non-Executive Director & SID of Chemring plc and was previously Chairman of Chemring’s Remuneration Committee.
