Join us to celebrate International Women's Day where we will hear from Rosaleen Moriarty-Simmonds OBE, Disabled Businesswoman and Equality Campaigner, in conversation with journalist and broadcaster Felicity Evans.

This event is in partnership with Eversheds Sutherland. The event will be taking place at their newly-refurbished offices at 1 Callaghan Square with drinks and canapés.

Disabled Businesswoman, Equality Campaigner, Prolific Volunteer and Charitable Worker; Author, Actor, Media Presenter, Inspirational Speaker and Artist with the world renowned, Mouth & Foot Painting Artists. A member of many disability and other organisations, Rosie is also a Vice President of the Cardiff Business Club, and protagonist for the Thalidomide Memorial - dedicated in June 2016, which marks the lives and achievements of Thalidomide Impaired people globally. Board of Trustees Member of the South Wales Police Youth Trust; Patron of Flamingo Chicks (national inclusive dance schools); Beneficiary Insights Panel Member (Thalidomide Trust), and Chairperson of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board for Cardiff University. 

She will be joined by Cardiff based journalist and broadcaster, Felicity Evans, who has covered all the major stories of the last twenty five years. Felicity has also presented a variety of radio programmes for Radio Wales, Radio 4 and the World Service including Good Morning Wales, Farming Today, The World Tonight and Open Country.

The event at Eversheds Sutherland will be from 6-8pm, drinks and canapés will be served. 

There are limited spaces for this event which will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. The event is free to attend and open to members and friends of the club so we would encourage you to book soon to avoid missing out!
